Atlanta was lit this weekend. Between Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby, there were a ton of events. But nothing compared to the La Fête du Rosé Festival presented by Moët Chandon. The festival was held at the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, May 5th. The weather was fantastic and it was truly a celebration of all things Rosé. Attendees wore pink and white and I was in PinkBoss heaven. This was an inaugural event and I know it will be bigger and better next year. The band TK & the Right Pieces kicked off the entertainment with a brass band and amazing vocals. Later DJ Stormy, DJ Cassidy & DJ Babey Drew took us through a musical medley of songs from many different genres. I danced and sang all day!!!
I had general admission tickets and loved every minute of it. The VIP section looked amazing but the general admission area was super fun! My girlfriends and I enjoyed the curated boxes created by Gotta Have It Catering who executed recipes from Chef and Grammy Award winner, Kelis. Although the food was good, it was not as filling as expected. There were a few food truck options for those that did not preorder boxes. Outside food was not allowed so I suggest you eat before or come prepared to order from the food trucks onsite.
The location was perfect!! I parked at Ponce City Market (valet for only $15.00) and saved time and energy trying to find street parking. I got there early and found a perfect spot near the stage and food areas. There were games and cute Paper Rose Backdrops created by Pretty Paper Blossoms. I truly enjoyed myself and cannot wait until next year.
