I have been none stop for the last two weeks but this is the life I dreamed of so there are no complaints. I had a great time hosting the Walker’s Legacy Mentor Matchmaking Event a few weeks ago at WeWork 1372 in Atlanta. The event was a success. We had over 24 women mentees in attendance and they came prepared with questions ready for our mentors. I want to thank our mentors, Tracy Williams of T-Factor Talent Solutions, LLC; Tanika Gray Valburn of The White Dress Project; Liberty White of Chozen Media; Katerina Taylor President of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce; and Erica Dais of The B Firm PR.Each mentor represented a different industry and provided expert advice for the mentees. We opened up with an introduction of our mentors and mentees in attendance. After each mentor went to their assigned area and awaited their mentees. Each mentee had a 30-minute group session with their mentor of choice. After 30 mins, mentees were to switch to meet with another mentor. This gave each mentor an opportunity to hear from 2 different mentors. We had a blast and I have received amazing feedback from the event. I cannot wait for the next one.
Also, I would like to thank my publicist Clorissa of Synergy PR Services for making sure I did not miss anything. Also, thanks to our vendors Elisha Akram of Kustom Kreation Photography and Chef Sabrina of Appetize Atlanta. And last but not least thanks to my PinkBoss Ambassadors, Tiffany Nicole and Brandy Whitney.
I could not have put this event on without my team. Here are more pictures from the event. Enjoy!
